Best Makeup Remover For Dry Skin!

Make-up can be stubborn to remove if you're anything like me I search high and low to get long lasting/waterproof lipstick, 24hr foundation and eyeliner. I always get long wearing make-up and sometimes it can be very stubborn to remove, if you have sensitive skin it can get really irritated too!

I stumbled upon this around a year ago and I've loved it, but now I adore it! This particular Micellar Water is by Garnier, they have multiple versions for different skin types. My favourite Micellar Water is Oil-infused which is great as I have very dry skin but not only that, Oil is the best thing to break up waterproof make-up so it comes of like a dream when using a cotton pad!

Not only does it do it's job it does more, it leaves your skin feeling nourished and hydrated without it feeling greasy! For you lazy people out there (like me) no rinsing required, bonus!

You can use this all over your face including sensitive areas like your eyes, I'm honestly so impressed I don't think I'll buy another make-up remover again.

Heads up it's currently on sale in Boots for £3 for 400ml which claims to be 200 uses, fabulous!

Festival First Impressions/Tips

So guys, it's officially here and the festival blues are finally disappearing!

I decided seen as I haven't been on here much I wanted to do a first impressions/tips post hopefully it will give you a better idea what to expect if you're a festival new bee for this festival season!

Last year I went to Leeds Festival I only got to experience it for one day and one night but I feel it was enough to know what to do and what not to do!

Please put all your stuff into something that's sturdy and has wheels! honestly, you'll thank me later.

Firstly, outfit choice is key the weather is so unpredictable and you need to prepare for the worst staple items for me would be wellies, over the knee socks, leggings, shorts, t-shirts and a jacket with a hood! Don't wear something if you don't want it to get ruined because the chances are they'll get ruined! Comfort before style in this case festivals aren’t glamour’s as much as you’d want them to be.

Food
If you're willing to fork out £5 for a gross burger you're sorted but if not, then make sure you take some food you burn a lot of energy whilst your walking/dancing around so you need energy take things that don't need to be kept in the fridge or be cooked. If you don’t think you’ve packed enough food don’t worry, there is fast food everywhere just be prepared to pay the price.

Drinks
Luckily for me, somebody told me glass bottles aren't allowed on site so I transferred my alcohol into plastic bottles before I arrived. I saw a lot of unhappy bunnies who had to drink all their drinks before they went in to the festival! I know how tempting it is to fill your bags with just alcohol but honestly fit a good amount of bottled water in there, I was surprised how much I wanted it whilst I was there, they charge a pretty penny for it too so worth taking your own.

Keeping stuff safe
Make sure you put things in a safe place you need a bag that is secured with zips, I think your best option would be to use a bum bag.. yes, I said it a bum bag. 1. Because you can see it at all times 2. It's pretty much drunk proof I doubt you'd just take it off and leave it somewhere. I suppose small backpacks are also acceptable but when you're squeezing through crowds it does get slightly annoying! If you go on the ASOS there is plenty of pretty looking bum bags so don't worry!

Tents
Tents! I'm no Bear Grylls so opting for a pop-up tent is a pretty smart move making sure it's waterproof, nothing more uncomfortable than sleeping in a soggy sleeping bag.

Accept that you probably won't see all the bands you want to! It's almost impossible to see all the bands you want and everyone has the same idea of getting there early and getting right to the front! If you’re with a large group of friends the chances of you all staying together is pretty much 0. So make sure your phones charged or you purchase a portable charger (which are available at Leeds Festival). Send texts with time stamps "Meet me at xyz tent in an hour sent @10.00pm so if the text came through late due to signal you'll know when it was sent.
Here are just a few other essentials I’d be taking with me next time!

  • Sun cream
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Dry shampoo
  • Baby wipes
  • Deodorant wipes
  • Mini first-aid kit
  • Sunglasses

Remember to stay safe and enjoy yourself!

Morphe Brushes 12NB Natural Beauty Palette!

Hey! I know it's been a long time since I last put up a blog post I have been very busy with university work but I'M BACK. Hopefully, I'll be able to post a lot more now I'm off for the summer.

So today's post is about the Morphe Brushes 12NB Natural Beauty Palette! I'm a bit late on the bandwagon but better late than never.

I found this little gem on Beauty Bay, check it out here!

This palette consists of 12 shades, including cool toned matte off whites, shimmery burnt burgundy/oranges, sparkly champagne and warm and cool toned browns.

The photo of the palette is a pretty accurate representation of the colors! it's inexpensive, compact and perfect to create versatile looks all year round. I travel a lot so it's perfect to just pop in my handbag! The pigmentation is amazing I'd say it's on par with my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette but for a small fraction of the price!

If I was to nit pick I'd have to say the packaging isn't great, it's just plastic with a very cheap feel. It doesn't include a mirror or brush which I knew before I purchased but would have been great if they did include them but for £11.95 I can't complain!

I'd give this palette a huge 8*

I had to treat myself to a chocolate orange muffin of course thank you Secret Cake Club it was gorgeous!

As all the shopaholics were hunting for a good old bargain in the background a band called The Last Resort played some classics tunes from The King of Rock & Roll Elvis and Buddy Holly I couldn't keep my feet on the ground they had an amazing sound and really helped with the vintage vibes!

Stila Magnificent Metals Dupe

Hello guy's sorry I haven't being posting for a while been pretty busy but at the same time I have been looking for dupes for you wonderful people (got some great ones coming your way!)

So today I have a dupe of the "Stila Magnificent Metals" such a gorgeous product but personally a little too pricey for me the retail price is £33.50, I mean it's a product that will last you a long time but still who doesn't like a cheaper alternative?

For the people who don't know much about this products it's basically an eye shadow that has like a foil finish, it's very pigmented and comes in 12 different shades. It's quite unique as you can used it straight out the pot or use the small liquid primer and mix a small amount together on the tray included.

After some looking around I found a dupe for £5 in Superdrug it's the "Awesome Metals Eye Foil" sadly Revolution only do 4 different shades but they're all beautiful never the less! I'm eventually going to pick them all up but for now I bought one in the shade "Rose Gold" although It's called that it's definitely a more champagne colour.

Natural daylight and Flash.
(right without liquid primer left with primer)

This shadow will look great all year around, I normally use it for parties with a smokey eye but would look especially gorgeous near Christmas time, for a day look you can just add a little near your tear duct to give a more wide eyed look!

I honestly can't fault this product really, it has a really long staying power especially with the primer which you can keep building up for a more intense look once dried. My favorite thing about this too is it doesn't crease at all so well done Revolution! 5* for you.

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag.

Hello! The fabulous Aaliyah tagged me to do the "The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag"
So here I go!

1. Name a beauty regimen that you rarely do?

For me it has to be using body scrubs to exfoliate! I only ever do it when i'm tanning which is barely ever I only really ever feel the need to do it for my face as I sometimes get dry patches.

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you regularly do?

I'v just recently just started doing them weekly but before that I did them whenever I felt I needed to.
I don't think i'd wash them anymore than once a week i'm far to impatient to wait for them to all dry!

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

longest is 2 days depending on the colour, I usually go for clear or pearlescent colours due to my laziness so I can leave it a little longer.

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?

The essentials like foundation i'll pick up a new one before I run out but anything else i'll literally wait until I stumble upon it.

5. What's your worst beauty habit?

Biting my nails it makes them really brittle and gross! I tried the stuff that stops you from biting them and it honestly made me stop eating too it was that vile!

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
I'd probably say tidying my room, I love my organised mess.

7. Can you commit to spending bans?
No way.

8. How organised is your make-up and nail polish collection?
It's not organised at all I do really need to get on that. it's all in one tub it's a nightmare.

I tagg Anna & Sadie :)

Pretty Little Thing Experience

Hello guy's today's post is going to do what it says on the title and let you guys know my experience with the website Pretty Little Thing!

Firstly i'd like to say I adore all the clothes on this website there's nothing I wouldn't buy the clothes are reasonably priced and frequently do discounts!

They give you 20% off your first order which is very generous of them when you give them your e-mail on the bottom of the main page, defiantly take advantage of that!

For me I'm really not a fan on buying online because the colours are always slightly different or the sizing isn't right and i'm very impatient. I simply can't be bothered to send it back half the time because of all the fuss it and time it takes.

Another fellow beauty & lifestyle blogger the beautiful Aaliyah Langton (Click Here) Shared with the world her experience, I went and bought the same wonderful co-ord but in navy blue because she spoke so fondly of it and she looked so great!

I was basically looking for something that I could wear for my end of the year event! Very sad times, but I wanted to wear something i'd feel comfortable in but still look like I made the effort, I fell in love with this outfit it's classy and covers all the stuff up I don't like but still has that cheeky little bit of sass!

I'm usually a size 8 so I went with my gut and got both my skirt and my top in that size, one of the other reasons I chose this outfit was because of the "slinky" material because i know it stretches!

I purchased my order at 2pm and after clicking the "UK Next Day Delivery" which was free on this particular day! It Arrived the next day at dinner time!

Here is what it looks like
I'm 5foot3 and the midi skirt goes just below the knee!
The material is good quality and you can tell it has being made with care I will definitely be using pretty little things services again!
